Tonight, Sunday, January 27, 7:00 PM at Prosper building. All youth invited. Join Bishop Schofield as we discuss important gospel topics. Church dress is encouraged but not required.
The youth will be doing baptisms for the dead in the Dallas Temple on Tuesday, January 29. Our ward has been assigned two time slots in the temple that evening at 6:00 pm and at 7:30 pm. Everyone should've received an email with the assigned time and instructions for the evening, but we've added the information to this page. Please have your son or daughter eat dinner before or send them with some snacks. Please reach out to Sister Scott or Brother Peterson if you have any questions.
Parents and youth, to help our YM and YW leaders communicate with the youth for activities, please add the email addresses of each youth to the youth's profiles on LDS.org or the LDS Tools app.

Myth: Self-reliance is only for those who are out of work or can’t afford to pay their bills.
Fact: Self-reliance is for all members of the church, regardless of employment or financial stability.
Myth: Self-reliance is just food storage and emergency supplies.
Fact: Self-reliance actively helps you become responsible in building your character, your happiness, and your faith for a lifetime of growth.
Myth: Self-reliance is just another church program that robs me of my personal and family time.
Fact: Self-reliance saves you time by helping you use it more effectively.
Myth: I have to be invited by the bishop or ward council to attend a self- reliance group.
Fact: Ask your bishop to be invited, or just show up for the devotional. We need you!
The Lord has PROMISED every one of us great blessings by participating in Self Reliance. Do you need a miracle in your life? Come to the Self-reliance devotional!
Every Thursday, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Frisco West building (10400 Legacy Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033-1334)
Sparks
It’s not uncommon for there to be a spark when you first plug in a cord. However, if it happens often, you may have a serious problem. If you also hear a popping sound with the spark when plugging into an outlet or circuit, you may have a loose wire. It’s imperative to have a pro come check for problems, as diagnosing this problem yourself could be very dangerous.
