Allen and Sherman Stakes will be holding a Single Adult Conference for our region that will be held Oct 11th - 13th at the Allen Stake Center. This is a free event for singles 31 and older, and will include an outdoor concert, inspirational speakers and workshop, great service projects, dancing, food and FUN!
Key information and a link for registration for the conference is posted on the DFWSA.net website and the "Texas Single Adults of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" Facebook page. Also attached is a flyer for the conference.
The Prosper Wards have graciously filled the Bethlehem Place food pantry shelves every September for the last several years. This is a great opportunity to show our support to this wonderful community organization that serves our neighbors in the Prosper area. This is a very important month for this organization due to a low volume of food donations over the summer months.
All food can be dropped off at the Prosper Building in the large boxes in the foyer. You can also drop off donations to Cherise Sallaway (Prosper 3rd ward).
All donations need to be collected by Sunday, September 29th.
Save the date: We are planning a youth trip to Nauvoo May 26 to May 30, 2020. This will be for Teachers/Mia Maids and Priests/Laurels. Nauvoo information meeting for parents and youth - Sunday, October 20, 7:00 PM
If you have a calling working with children or youth, you need to complete Youth Protection Training available here. All leaders and teachers of children or youth are to complete this training within one month of being called.
