We look forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior this Christmas season.
For Jackson's Eagle project he will be collecting shoes (used or new shoes, or money donations) for those in need. His goal is 500 pairs. He’ll be providing boxes at the church and around the community, through the holidays—starting next Sunday—we encourage everyone to bring shoes to contribute. Thanks!
Each year the congregations of the Prosper Stake participate in the Cornerstone Coat Drive. This is a wonderful way for us as a ward to get involved in the spirit of giving that is so unique to this time of year. Each new coat meets the need of a specific child, man or woman who has been identified as in need of a warm coat. So many of us are blessed to never worry about whether we can stay warm. We invite you to get involved to the extent you can in serving these good brothers and sisters in need right here in our area. More information is available from Sister Sorenson and boxes for donations will be in each foyer or can be delivered directly to the Sallaway home in Prosper. Here is the link to sign up genius.
Save the date! December 21st at 8:30am to 10:30am at the Prosper building. For more information please see the flyer. Here is the link to the sign up genius.

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
We appreciate your faithful efforts to help others come unto Christ. As a stake presidency, we are excited to begin preparing for the Church’s Light the World initiative. As the holiday season approaches, hearts turn to our Savior Jesus Christ. As His disciples, we can help families and individuals come closer to Him through “normal and natural” ways.
During this season, we invite you to consider four simple ways to help others come unto Christ:
PRAY – FAST – MINISTER – INVITE
Missionaries in our stake are currently teaching or seeking prepared families, and your personal efforts combined with the missionaries will have a powerful impact.
May you and your loved ones be blessed during this special time of year.
Most sincerely,
President Platt and President Dalton
