Stake Missionary Prep Class

Mission Prep is tonight at 7 pm at the Prosper Stake Center. Every Second Sunday of the month the Stake has a missionary prep class at 7 pm in the Stake Center for all youth 15 years and older.

Choir Practice

There will be no Choir Practice for the summer months.

Emergency Preparedness Survey

In order for the Bishop and Elders Quorum president to fulfill their duty, it is important for every family to take this 3 to 4 minute survey. Only the Bishop and Elders Quorum President will have access to this information.

Youth Protection Training

Addiction Recovery and Family and Spouse Support

General Addiction

Thursday's 8:00 pm at the Prosper Building, (970 N. Coit Rd., Prosper). For those who struggle with any addiction, men and women welcome. They meet in the Relief Society Room.

Spouse and Family Support Group Meeting

Tuesday mornings 10:30 am at the Legacy Bldg., (10400 Legacy Dr., Frisco, TX). Support for loved ones of those overcoming addictions. Women only meet in the Relief Society Room.

Addiction Recovery - Pornography - Men Only

Currently via Zoom. Sunday evenings at 8:30 pm. Contact Elder Dennis Shanklin for Zoom link at 818 378 1603.

Temples

Members who want to attend the Dallas Texas Temple to perform proxy ordinances now have the option to either schedule an appointment or attend without an appointment, where space is available.

As priority will be given to members with appointments, those who attend without an appointment may be asked to wait for an opportunity to participate. As it has always been, appointments will still be necessary for all members who come to receive their own ordinances (endowment and sealing).

You are encouraged to attend the temple as often as your circumstances allow.

You can reserve an appointment on https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org, in the Member Tools app, or by calling the temple. Also you may now schedule multiple appointments for any ordinance in any temple.

Ministering

At this unprecedented time the Bishop wants everyone to continue reaching out to their ministering families and make sure they are doing well. Please reach out to President Schaack or Sister Taylor if anything needs to be brought to their attention.

Emergency Prep

The following are guidelines for buying and storing hazardous household chemicals safely:

1. Keep products containing hazardous materials in their original containers and never remove the labels unless the container is corroding. Corroding containers should be repackaged and clearly labeled.

2. Never store hazardous products in food containers.

3. Never mix household hazardous chemicals or waste with other products. Incompatibles, such as chlorine bleach and ammonia, may react, ignite or explode.

4. Never use hair spray, cleaning solutions, paint products, or pesticides near an open flame

5. Clean up any chemical spill immediately. Allow the fumes in the rags to evaporate outdoors, then dispose of the rags by wrapping them in a newspaper and placing them in a sealed plastic bag in your trash can.

6. Dispose of hazardous materials correctly.
