Letter from the First Presidency
It is our ward’s turn to clean the church building this month. We thank all of those who came yesterday to help. We started at the back of the alphabet this month, so this week we ask anyone with a last name beginning with K-R to meet at the church at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday to help clean. Anyone with a last name S-Z who was not able to come yesterday is also invited to come help.
All young men and young women are invited to attend our ward summer youth trips.
The young men will be doing a canoe trip on the Buffalo River in Arkansas from May 27–30.
The young women have reserved cabins in Broken Bow, Oklahoma from June 4–6.
The cost is $100 per person, payable through the Church Donation Page under "Local - Youth Camp Registration."
Please contact Brother Dave Fisher or Sister Erin Brinkerhoff for more information.
Join us as we spend the year doing an in-depth study of miracles throughout all scripture.
Wednesday at 10:00 am at the Coit building.
Class starts August 26 and runs through April

After you receive a ward level temple recommend interview you will need to have a stake temple recommend interview. You can set that up with one of the stake presidency counselors through the following links.
Members can go to the following links to find dates, locations and times at their convenience to schedule themselves:
The week of every third Saturday will be our ward's temple week. Our next ward temple night will resume in May, following the re-opening of the Dallas Temple. If you cannot make this night please try and attend any session that week at the temple. Please don't forget that you need to sign up for a reservation.
If you are working with youth and have not taken the church's Youth Protection Training in the past three years, please follow this link to take the class. It takes about 30 minutes.
We have a live video feed for our meeting today. However, due to the sacred nature of the sacrament we won’t broadcast the ordinance of the sacrament. The zoom link to the live video feed is below. Any questions or issues please reach out to Brother Creel.

Members who want to attend the Dallas Texas Temple to perform proxy ordinances now have the option to either schedule an appointment or attend without an appointment, where space is available.
As priority will be given to members with appointments, those who attend without an appointment may be asked to wait for an opportunity to participate. As it has always been, appointments will still be necessary for all members who come to receive their own ordinances (endowment and sealing).
You are encouraged to attend the temple as often as your circumstances allow.
You can reserve an appointment on https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org, in the Member Tools app, or by calling the temple. Also you may now schedule multiple appointments for any ordinance in any temple.
