It is our ward's month to clean the ward building. Members with the last name M-S are asked to come help clean the ward building this Saturday December 10 from 9-10. Thanks for your service.
This Wednesday there will be a combined young men and young women activity in the Primary room at 7 pm. They will be having a white elephant gift exchange. Please bring a wrapped new 5 dollar gift to exchange and cookies to share. They are welcome to wear an ugly Christmas Sweater. Please see link for more details.

The Stake will have their Drive-By Live Nativity this Saturday December 10 from 6-8 at Frontier Park.
We have a particular need in our ward for more fast offerings. Please consider giving a generous fast offering, this is a great time of year to also give a generous fast offering to help those in the ward in need.
Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, a long-established church here in Prosper has been put in a financially precarious situation and could greatly benefit from our help.
Over many years as our church has grown within Prosper the relationship between our congregations has warmed tremendously. Many of our members regularly participate in activities with them. We want to make you aware of this unique opportunity we have to help them in their time of need and continue to foster a meaningful relationship. This is informative only and not meant to be a request for donations; however, we hope you will consider helping some neighbors in need. This has been discussed with and approved by the Area Presidency.
We have link to a QR code that will bring you to their website where you can make a donation directly to them. You may indicate in a note where your donation is coming from or you may leave it anonymous. If you do leave a note, one suggestion may be to say “From your friends in the Prosper wards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.”

Join us for a fun filled Ward Christmas Dinner and Party at the North Pole, Friday, December 9, 2022 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. We will enjoy dinner together with a small program and then become Santas helpers as we perform a service project together in Santas Workshop. We know it’s a busy time of year but please come late or leave early if you have conflicts, we would love for all ward members to attend. This summer from May 29-June 2 the Prosper Stake will be having a Youth Nauvoo Temple Trek. Please go to the following website to register and to learn more about the trek. Registration is open now and it is important to register your youth before 12/1/2022.
Ward Choir Practice will be held today from 3:00-4:00 in the chapel.
Prosper Stake Adult Religion Class will be held on Wednesdays at 9:30 am at the Stake Center. Course of study for 2022-23 is "The Parables".

Every Second Sunday of the month the Stake has a missionary prep class at 7 pm in the Stake Center for all youth 15 years and older. The next Mission Prep Class will be Sunday November 13 at 7pm. Everyone in the Mission Prep Class is invited to do baptisms for the dead at the Dallas Temple on Tuesday January 3 at 2:3O pm. Please make sure your temple recommend is current.

General Addiction
Thursday's 8:00 pm at the Prosper Building, (970 N. Coit Rd., Prosper). For those who struggle with any addiction, men and women welcome. They meet in the Relief Society Room.
Spouse and Family Support Group Meeting
Tuesday mornings 10:30 am at the Legacy Bldg., (10400 Legacy Dr., Frisco, TX). Support for loved ones of those overcoming addictions. Women only meet in the Relief Society Room.

Members who want to attend the Dallas Texas Temple to perform proxy ordinances now have the option to either schedule an appointment or attend without an appointment, where space is available.
As priority will be given to members with appointments, those who attend without an appointment may be asked to wait for an opportunity to participate. As it has always been, appointments will still be necessary for all members who come to receive their own ordinances (endowment and sealing).
You are encouraged to attend the temple as often as your circumstances allow.
You can reserve an appointment on https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org, in the Member Tools app, or by calling the temple. Also you may now schedule multiple appointments for any ordinance in any temple.
HOW TO STAY SAFE WHEN A WINTER STORM THREATENS:
RECOGNIZE AND RESPOND:
Frostbite causes loss of feeling and color around the face, fingers, and toes.
Signs: Numbness, white or grayish-yellow skin, firm or waxy skin
Actions: Go to a warm room. Soak in warm water. Use body heat to warm. Do not massage or use a heating pad.
Hypothermia is an unusually low body temperature. A temperature below 95 degrees is an emergency.
Signs: Shivering, exhaustion, confusion, fumbling hands, memory loss, slurred speech, or drowsiness
Actions: Go to a warm room. Warm the center of the body first—chest, neck, head, and groin. Keep dry and wrapped up in warm blankets, including the head and neck.
