Please take a moment to complete this self reliance survey this week. (Here is the link to it.)
Please check your possible interest (or “not interested”) in any of the groups listed. We hope that all might cycle through participating in at least one of these groups at some point. They are great topics and they provide a great opportunity to make meaningful connections with ward members as well.
We have a live video feed for our meeting today. However, due to the sacred nature of the sacrament we won’t broadcast the ordinance of the sacrament. To preserve the continuity of the broadcast we will hear from our speakers first and then conclude the meeting with the administration of the sacrament. Here is the link to the live video feed and below are instructions for accessing it. Any questions or issues please reach out to Brother Creel.

We have been asked as a quorum to set up chairs in the chapel overflow (gym) and the relief society every week before our sacrament meeting now that we are the first ward to use the building in the morning. As we are still social distancing and the rows are fairly spaced apart, this should not take too much time, but should be done by 8:20 a.m., ten minutes before we are scheduled to begin our meeting. When creating adequately spaced socially distanced rows, please remember that family sizes vary, so we should be setting up rows of varying chair counts, 8, 7, 6, 5, etc., as is currently being done, and we should ensure there are extra chairs folded up towards the back so that if a family needs to add some chairs to a row, they are easily accessible.
Bishop Brandvold has asked us to please involve the Young Men in this weekly service. To that end, we are asking that you bring your young men aged sons with you on your respective week to assist in this duty. We ask that you participate as follows.
First Sunday of the Month-- Elders and YM aged sons with last name beginning with A-C
Second Sunday of the Month-- Elders and YM aged sons with last names beginning with D-I
Third Sunday of the Month -- Elders and YM aged sons with last names beginning with J-R
Fourth Sunday of the Month -- Elders and YM aged sons with last names beginning with S-Z
Fifth Sunday of the Month -- Elders Quorum Presidency, and anyone else who feels like assisting this week may voluntarily do so.
Thank you for your service,
P2 Elders Quorum Presidency

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This past year has been one of great trial for so many in our Stake as well as the nation and the world. In the midst of all that occurred, the living Prophet by inspiration reminded us of the healing power of "Gratitude". As a Stake Presidency, we have felt that same spirit of inspiration touch our hearts as we have considered our Stake Theme for 2021.
Here is the attachment that outlines the Prosper Texas Stake theme for 2021. In a word, the 2021 theme is
Gratitude
The scripture associated with this theme is Alma 34:38.
“That ye contend no more against the Holy Ghost, but that ye receive it, and take upon you the name of Christ; that ye humble yourselves even to the dust, and worship God, in whatsoever place ye may be in, in spirit and in truth; and that ye live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you.”
This theme will be reflected in Conferences including Youth Conference as well as talks from the Stake Presidency and High Council.
As you make your own individual and family goals and plans for 2021, we hope that you would consider "Gratitude" and allow the peace and healing associated with it to bless your lives.
May the Lord bless each of you in this coming year!

We hope you continue to have faith building experiences as you study Come, Follow Me. We would like to invite you to download and use the church's Living app to share your thoughts and impressions, especially during this time when meeting together each week is not possible.
Sharing your spiritual insights through the app is simple – open the app on your device, click on "Circles" in the bottom right, then select the group that is most relevant. For example, you can select "Adult" to share with all adult members of Sunday School.
We look forward to reading what you have to share! Thanks,
Brother Dold, Sunday School President
Members are encouraged to maintain a current temple recommend; please schedule through Brother Camp at 801-735-8762.
At this unprecedented time the Bishop wants everyone to continue reaching out to their ministering families and make sure they are doing well. Please reach out to President Schaack or Sister Taylor if anything needs to be brought to their attention.
