Prosper Stake Youth Nauvoo Reunion Activity on Wednesday, August 23rd at the Prosper Stake Center at 7:00 pm. It is optional to wear the Nauvoo t-shirt but highly encouraged.
There will be a Stake Seminary kickoff tonight at the Prosper Stake Center from 6pm-7pm.
Adult Ward Game Night on August 19 with start time around 7:30 pm. Please sign up to be assigned to a small group for adult game night. You will enjoy time getting to know one another, play games and share desserts. Please sign up to host, or participate. The host will either plan the game and/or even ask for help from members of the small group. The host will also make assignments for desserts. Start/end time is negotiable based on what works best for each group!
Please sign up using the sign up genius. Last day to sign up is August 14. Assignments will be made on the 15th for planning purposes!
Prosper Stake Adult Religion Class will start back up on Wednesday mornings beginning August 23 at 9:30 in the Prosper Stake Center. Please see Flyer.

Mission Prep will be held on the second Sunday of the month on August 13, September 10, October 8, November 12 and December 10. Mission Prep is at 7:00 PM at the Stake Center.
For the summer the Primary June and July second hour Sunday schedule will be singing time first and class time second for all primary kids.
After you receive a ward level temple recommend interview you will need to have a stake temple recommend interview. You can set that up with one of the stake presidency counselors through the following links.

The week of every third Saturday will be our ward's temple week. However, for August our ward temple night will be the fourth Saturday on August 26 for the 7pm temple session. If you cannot make this night please try and attend any session that week at the temple. Please don't forget that you need to sign up for a reservation.
There will be no Ward Choir Practice during the summer months.

Thursday's 8:00 pm at the Prosper Building, (970 N. Coit Rd., Prosper). For those who struggle with any addiction, men and women welcome. They meet in the Relief Society Room.
Spouse and Family Support Group Meeting - Women Only

Members who want to attend the Dallas Texas Temple to perform proxy ordinances now have the option to either schedule an appointment or attend without an appointment, where space is available.
As priority will be given to members with appointments, those who attend without an appointment may be asked to wait for an opportunity to participate. As it has always been, appointments will still be necessary for all members who come to receive their own ordinances (endowment and sealing).
You are encouraged to attend the temple as often as your circumstances allow.
You can reserve an appointment on https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org, in the Member Tools app, or by calling the temple. Also you may now schedule multiple appointments for any ordinance in any temple.
Create and Practice a Fire Escape Plan
In the event of a fire, remember that every second counts, so you and your family must always be prepared. Escape plans help you get out of your home quickly.
Twice each year, practice your home fire escape plan. Some tips to consider when preparing this plan include:
Find two ways to get out of each room in the event the primary way is blocked by fire or smoke.
A secondary route might be a window onto a neighboring roof or a collapsible ladder for escape from upper story windows.
Make sure that windows are not stuck, screens can be taken out quickly, and that security bars can be properly opened.
Practice feeling your way out of the house in the dark or with your eyes closed.
Teach children not to hide from firefighters.
