The Prosper Stake Conference will be held on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17. On Saturday there will be a leadership meeting at 4pm and an adult session at 6pm. There will be an adult social activity after the adult session. The general session will take place on Sunday at 10am. All members are urged to attend in person, but there will also be an online broadcast. Please refer to the email from President Perkes for additional details.
Please join us for a ward breakfast as we “Feast Before the Word'' on General Conference morning September 30th 8:30-10:00am at the ward building. More details and sign-ups to come.
We will be holding a ward youth fireside on Sunday, September 24 at 7pm in the Relief Society room. All youth are encouraged to attend.

Prosper Stake Adult Religion Class will start back up on Wednesday mornings beginning August 23 at 9:30 in the Prosper Stake Center. Please see Flyer.

Mission Prep will be held on the second Sunday of the month on September 10, October 8, November 12 and December 10. Mission Prep is at 7:00 PM at the Stake Center.
After you receive a ward level temple recommend interview you will need to have a stake temple recommend interview. You can set that up with one of the stake presidency counselors through the following links.

The week of every third Saturday will be our ward's temple week. Due to the Stake Adult Session being on Saturday September 16 we will push our ward temple night to Saturday September 23 at 7pm. If you cannot make this night please try and attend any session that week at the temple. Please don't forget that you need to sign up for a reservation.
Ward Choir practice will be starting back up again. Ward choir practice will start September 10 at 3:30 at the ward building.
If you are working with youth and have not taken the church's Youth Protection Training in the past three years, please follow this link to take the class. It takes about 30 minutes.

General Addiction
Thursday's 8:00 pm at the Prosper Building, (970 N. Coit Rd., Prosper). For those who struggle with any addiction, men and women welcome. They meet in the Relief Society Room.
Spouse and Family Support Group Meeting - Women Only
Meetings will be held Sundays at 7pm at the Legacy Bldg., (10400 Legacy Dr., Frisco, TX). Support for loved ones of those in recovery. Meeting is in room 116 by the Bishops office, park in the South parking lot. For more information please contact Sister Wilding at (469)512-5405.

Members who want to attend the Dallas Texas Temple to perform proxy ordinances now have the option to either schedule an appointment or attend without an appointment, where space is available.
As priority will be given to members with appointments, those who attend without an appointment may be asked to wait for an opportunity to participate. As it has always been, appointments will still be necessary for all members who come to receive their own ordinances (endowment and sealing).
You are encouraged to attend the temple as often as your circumstances allow.
You can reserve an appointment on https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org, in the Member Tools app, or by calling the temple. Also you may now schedule multiple appointments for any ordinance in any temple.
Prevent Home Fires. Home fires are preventable! The following are simple steps that each of us can take to prevent a tragedy.
Fireplaces and Woodstoves
Inspect and clean woodstove pipes and chimneys annually and check monthly for damage or obstructions.
Use a fireplace screen heavy enough to stop rolling logs and big enough to cover the entire opening of the fireplace to catch flying sparks.
Make sure the fire is completely out before leaving the house or going to bed.
