This month our ward is in charge of cleaning the ward building. Everyone is invited to help clean but ward members with the last names O-W are assigned to help clean at 9 am. Also anyone that has not been able to help clean this month is also invited. Many hands make light work.
The Prosper Stake Conference will take place on Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1. Sessions will include a leadership meeting for all organization presidencies at 4 pm on Saturday, a session for all adults at 7 pm on Saturday, and a general session for all members of the stake at 10 am on Sunday. Additional information will be sent by the Stake prior to the conference.
Next Sunday, April 24, will be Prosper Stakes Fast Sunday since Stake Conference will be on April 30 and May 1.
Every Second Sunday of the month the Stake has a missionary prep class at 7 pm in the Stake Center for all youth 15 years and older.
Next Sunday, April 24, we will have a Ward Youth Fireside at 7pm with Brother and Sister Wilding. They will be discussing about becoming spiritually and physically self reliant for your next phases in life.
No Choir practice today
This upcoming activity is for all youth who are turning 14 this year, and older, regardless if they are attending FSY. This is just another way to help facilitate the goals of FSY, which are to help youth strengthen their testimonies of Jesus Christ, grow spiritually, find joy in gospel living, and create unity as they learn and play together. The activity will be held on April 23 and will be at the Stake Center from 1-9:30. Please see the flyer for more details.
We would like to invite youth to come and participate in the stake youth choir that will be singing at our upcoming Stake Conference on May 1st (Sunday). We are confident that this will be a wonderful experience for you and for those that will have the privilege of hearing you sing. So, please come and join! Below are further details:

It's that time of year again! It's time to register for Seminary for the 2022-2023 school year.
Returning Seminary Students:
Using your Church Account username and password, log in to myseminary.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
Once logged in to the site, you will see youth who are 13–18 years old listed on the left-hand side of the page under “My Family.” (Bishops, your ward will also be listed under “My Ward,” directly beneath “My Family.”
Next to the name of the student, you'll see "register for seminary" with a small icon of an open, illuminated book. Click on the icon and link.
Verify the expected graduation year, and use the drop down option on "Location" to select the desired building and class time to attend. (Please note the "F/S" and "J/S" designations for Freshman/Sophomore and Junior/Senior class splits). If you're not sure about which time is best yet, just take your best guess. Classes will fill up quickly.
Click the "Register" button located at the bottom.
New Upcoming Ninth-Grade Students:
If the student will be 14 years old and in the ninth grade (or equivalent) during the next school year, there are a few extra steps.
Create a church account if your child doesn't already have one. Use a personal email specific to that child. DO NOT USE A PARENT'S EMAIL ADDRESS. You can manage children's accounts on the church's website under a parent account if you want to see if your child already has an account or if you've forgotten usernames or passwords.
Log in to myseminary.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
Consent to the Seminary Registration Agreement. (A copy of the Seminary Registration Agreement can also be printed, completed, and returned to a member of the stake seminary council.)
Provide a graduation year.
Select the building location and class time where the student will attend seminary.
Update your contact information.

In order for the Bishop and Elders Quorum president to fulfill their duty, it is important for every family to take this 3 to 4 minute survey. Only the Bishop and Elders Quorum President will have access to this information.

Save the Date! Young Men Camp will be June 1-June 4. Young Women Camp will be May 31-June 2.
Each YM and YW will need to pay $50 for camp. We encourage the youth to earn this money themselves. Please seek out jobs around the house or other jobs around the ward/neighborhood for this purpose.
More details to come for the camps.

General Addiction
Thursday's 8:00 pm at the Prosper Building, (970 N. Coit Rd., Prosper). For those who struggle with any addiction, men and women welcome. They meet in the Relief Society Room.
Spouse and Family Support Group Meeting
Tuesday mornings 10:30 am at the Legacy Bldg., (10400 Legacy Dr., Frisco, TX). Support for loved ones of those overcoming addictions. Women only meet in the Relief Society Room.

At this unprecedented time the Bishop wants everyone to continue reaching out to their ministering families and make sure they are doing well. Please reach out to President Schaack or Sister Taylor if anything needs to be brought to their attention.
During Cybersecurity attack:
Limit the damage. Look for unexplained charges, strange accounts on your credit report, unexpected denial of your credit card, posts you did not make showing up on your social networks, and people receiving emails you never sent.
Immediately change passwords for all of your online accounts.
Scan and clean your device. Consider turning off the device. Take it to a professional to scan and fix.
Let work, school, or other system owners know. Information Technology (IT) departments may need to warn others and upgrade systems.
Contact banks, credit card companies, and other financial accounts. You may need to place holds on accounts that have been attacked. Close any unauthorized credit or charge accounts. Report that someone may be using your identity.
