Here are the details for Stake Youth Conference for the weekend of March 26-28th. It’s going to be a fantastic weekend and we can’t wait to get these youth together. PLEASE NOTE-Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their youth for each event.
Friday March 26th: Little Elm Beach 7-8:30pm
Parents will drop off and pick up their youth at Little Elm Beach. We have rented the amphitheatre and will hold our youth conference opening there. We plan to be there from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Parents are responsible to pick up and drop off their youth.
Saturday March 27th: Prosper Stake Center 11:45am-5:00pm & Group Dynamix 6-10pm
Parents will drop off their youth at the Prosper Stake Center at 11:45am. We will serve them Chick-fil-A lunch and then we will head into classes and a service project. At the conclusion of those activities a “cafe rio” style dinner will be served. We will be finished at the Stake Center at 5:00pm. At this time we will need parents to pick up youth and drive them to Group Dynamix in Carrollton. Again, parents need to pick up and drop off their youth. We will be at Group Dynamix from 6:00-10:00pm. Please have parents arrive promptly at 10:00pm to take their youth home.
Sunday March 28th: Prosper Stake Center 5:45-7:00pm
Youth born in 2007 and prior will be invited to the Stake Center to view the live Zoom with Elder Brad Wilcox. We will invite all youth ages 11-12 to view the zoom from their homes. Due to social distancing, we cannot accommodate all of the youth in the Stake Center-so in person attendance for the zoom is limited to those youth who are old enough to participate in Youth Conference. We will begin promptly at 5:45 and we expect to conclude at 7:00pm.
We are super excited for this Youth Conference and for the opportunity that it will provide for our youth to grow closer together, to strengthen their testimonies and for them to learn more about their role in this Great Work that we have been called to do. For the Youth who would like to participate virtually we will send out a link so they can view the classes virtually on Saturday as well as listen to Brad Wilcox on Sunday. Please let us know if you have any questions or how we can help you.

To preserve the continuity of the broadcast we will hear from our speakers first and then conclude the meeting with the administration of the sacrament. Here is the link to the live video feed and below are instructions for accessing it. Any questions or issues please reach out to Brother Creel.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This past year has been one of great trial for so many in our Stake as well as the nation and the world. In the midst of all that occurred, the living Prophet by inspiration reminded us of the healing power of "Gratitude". As a Stake Presidency, we have felt that same spirit of inspiration touch our hearts as we have considered our Stake Theme for 2021.
Here is the attachment that outlines the Prosper Texas Stake theme for 2021. In a word, the 2021 theme is
Gratitude
The scripture associated with this theme is Alma 34:38.
“That ye contend no more against the Holy Ghost, but that ye receive it, and take upon you the name of Christ; that ye humble yourselves even to the dust, and worship God, in whatsoever place ye may be in, in spirit and in truth; and that ye live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you.”
This theme will be reflected in Conferences including Youth Conference as well as talks from the Stake Presidency and High Council.
As you make your own individual and family goals and plans for 2021, we hope that you would consider "Gratitude" and allow the peace and healing associated with it to bless your lives.
May the Lord bless each of you in this coming year!

We hope you continue to have faith building experiences as you study Come, Follow Me. We would like to invite you to download and use the church's Living app to share your thoughts and impressions, especially during this time when meeting together each week is not possible.
Sharing your spiritual insights through the app is simple – open the app on your device, click on "Circles" in the bottom right, then select the group that is most relevant. For example, you can select "Adult" to share with all adult members of Sunday School.
We look forward to reading what you have to share! Thanks,
Brother Dold, Sunday School President
Members are encouraged to maintain a current temple recommend; please schedule through Brother Camp at 801-735-8762.
At this unprecedented time the Bishop wants everyone to continue reaching out to their ministering families and make sure they are doing well. Please reach out to President Schaack or Sister Taylor if anything needs to be brought to their attention.
Burning Odor
If you notice burning smells from outlets or switches, turn the power off at the electrical panel and immediately contact an electrician. You may have a problem with wiring, a faulty device or an overload. This is a serious problem, as it’s a sign that an electrical fire may be starting. If any connected wires or cords are warm, you probably have an electrical issue. Do not use any of these outlets or switches until the problem has been resolved.
