We are excited for stake conference coming up at the end of April! We will be having an adult choir for the Sunday session. Please see the sign up genius for details and to sign up for your specific part. This will be a memorable meeting with marvelous music.
Next Sunday is General Conference.
If you have any youth attending the stake Nauvoo trip, deacon’s camp, or the stake young women’s camp for the young women age 11-13 and have not already submitted the payment for those activities, please submit the payment of $75 per youth for those camps by filling out a paper donation slip indicating the name of the youth and the applicable activity in the Other category by next Sunday, March 26. If any members of the ward would like to contribute additional amounts to these youth camps, you are welcome to do so by contributing to the Other category and indicating the donation is for youth activities.
The week of every third Saturday will be our ward's temple week. Saturday April 15 at 7pm will be the official ward temple session. If you cannot make this night please try and attend any session that week at the temple. Please don't forget that you need to sign up for a reservation.

Members who want to attend the Dallas Texas Temple to perform proxy ordinances now have the option to either schedule an appointment or attend without an appointment, where space is available.
As priority will be given to members with appointments, those who attend without an appointment may be asked to wait for an opportunity to participate. As it has always been, appointments will still be necessary for all members who come to receive their own ordinances (endowment and sealing).
You are encouraged to attend the temple as often as your circumstances allow.
You can reserve an appointment on https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org, in the Member Tools app, or by calling the temple. Also you may now schedule multiple appointments for any ordinance in any temple.
Surviving a Thunderstorm.
A sturdy building is the safest place to be during a thunderstorm.
Pay attention to weather reports and warnings of thunderstorms. Be ready to change plans, if necessary, to be near shelter.
When you receive a thunderstorm warning or hear thunder, go
inside immediately.
If indoors, avoid running water or using landline phones. Electricity can travel through plumbing and phone lines.
Protect your property. Unplug appliances and other electric devices.
If boating or swimming, get to land and find a sturdy, grounded shelter or vehicle immediately.
If necessary, take shelter in a car with a metal top and sides. Do not touch anything metal.
Avoid flooded roadways. Turn Around Don’t Drown®. Just six inches of fast-moving water can knock you down, and one foot of moving water can sweep your vehicle away.
