The Texas Giving Machines are coming to DFW! Who is ready for the joy of giving this Christmas? The season's most meaningful gifts, now in a vending machine! For the first time ever, the Giving Machines will be here in DFW this December. Rather than buying snacks or sodas, Giving Machines allow people to purchase an item for someone else—across town or around the world! A Giving Machine is a vending machine for charity! The Texas Giving Machines will support 8 local and 2 global charities.
Each machine includes cards representing items requested by participating nonprofit organizations. Donors review the items and select what they wish to purchase. After payment is complete, the cards drop into a sealed collection bin. Giving Machine items include meals, shelter, clothing, educational assistance, healthcare services, immunizations, hygiene kits, job training, chickens and more!. The variety of items and prices make it possible for any one of any age to give. The Giving Machine accepts credit/debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express via tap or swipe (no chip readers) and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) Sorry, no cash.
You, your family & friends will leave the experience with a feeling of joy and gratitude that no candy bar will ever equal. Save these dates and start planning your visit! Fort Worth - Sundance Square December 5th - December 7th; Grapevine - Main Street December 9th - December 17th; McKinney - Town Square December 18th - January 1st.
November 13, 2023- We will be starting the ultimate game of “tag” by playing “Senior Spy”. All communication for “Senior Spy” will be made through the private senior group-me and “prospertexasstakeseniorfun” Instagram Page. Rules will be shared with each senior at sign-up. To sign up please visit the following link……

Members who want to attend the Dallas Texas Temple to perform proxy ordinances now have the option to either schedule an appointment or attend without an appointment, where space is available.
As priority will be given to members with appointments, those who attend without an appointment may be asked to wait for an opportunity to participate. As it has always been, appointments will still be necessary for all members who come to receive their own ordinances (endowment and sealing).
You are encouraged to attend the temple as often as your circumstances allow.
You can reserve an appointment on https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org, in the Member Tools app, or by calling the temple. Also you may now schedule multiple appointments for any ordinance in any temple.
Expectations
It is important to be realistic about recovery. It probably will not be an easy or short-term process. You may be facing many challenges.
Recognizing that you cannot control everything can help ease your stress, and setting realistic timeframes can increase your hope that life will again return to normal.
If your stress level becomes unmanageable or lasts longer than three months, you should seek professional help.
